Danvers American Little League - Spring 2018 Baseball Evaluations

Location:

Little League evaluations will be held at the Danvers High School Field House this year. There will be two dates for you to choose from; the rescheduled Monday March 12^th & Thursday March 15^th between 5-8 PM.

Important Information

1. All players that intend to evaluations need to be registered by the evaluation date, no exceptions.There will be NO walk-in registrations accepted at the evaluations so make sure to register before.Registration information can be found at: www.danversamerican.org
2. If your son or daughter did not play at the Majors level in 2017 (last season) he or she MUST attend the evaluation in order to move up divisions.
3. If your child does not attend an evaluation, he or she may not be eligible to move up a division.
4. If your son or daughter played on a Majors team in 2017 (last season) they do not need to try out.
5. Your child is only required to attend ONE scheduled evaluation session.If your child wants to attend both sessions, the highest scores will be used for evaluation purposes.
6. The evaluation scores will be used during the division drafts to place players in the appropriate divisions and ensure competitive teams throughout the league.Note: your child’s performance at evaluations does not guarantee advancement
7. Players should bring their own equipment if they have it, some equipment will be provided.
   • Glove, Bat, Batting gloves, and Batting Helmet.
   • Note The bat MUST meet the new 2018 batting regulations. Refer to: https://www.littleleague.org/playing-rules/bat-information for more info.
8. Players should wear athletic clothing & footwear.NO CLEATS
