2021 FALL BALL 

Fall Ball is back in Danvers American Little League! Fall Ball is designed to be flexible and fun as a less formal season than the spring but an opportunity for kids to continue playing baseball this year.  

After conducting a survey to determine interest in the program, Fall Ball will be offered for players ages 5-9 this year (based on spring 2021 Little League ages) and run from early September through mid October.

Signup deadline is Friday, September 3 and must be met to assess the number of signups, form teams and process uniforms. If enough players and volunteers do not register, we will not be able to successfully hold Fall Ball.

Eligibility:

All Danvers residents are eligible to play, including Danvers Nationals families, since DNLL is not offering a Fall Ball program.

Programs Available:

Farm (Coach Pitch) – 5, 6 and 7 year olds

Minors (Player Pitch) – Select 7 year olds, 8 and 9

If your child was Little League age 7 this past season, please register them in the division most appropriate for their ability. Farm Division will be consistent with rules DALL 7 year olds played with this season (Coach Pitch, soft baseball) while Minors will be rules consistent with DALL AAA (Player pitch from 46 feet, hard ball). Final placement of 7 years olds will be determined in consultation with families based on player safety and registration numbers. Player safety is a top concern of ours and we want to ensure players are placed in the appropriate division so they are able to learn and have fun in a safe environment.

Important: Players will retain their current little league age for the remainder of 2021. Please refer to the little league age chart below to determine your child’s “little league age”.  A link to the age calculator is provided here and a chart is below: Little League Age Calculator

Dates & Format:

Begins September 10 and concludes October 17 with no games Columbus Day weekend. Play dates will be Friday evenings and Sunday mornings. A different weeknight may be set for the Farm Division.

Format: 

Both will play twice a week. Farm will play other DALL teams with a coach pitch format with rules similar to DALL Farm/A rules. This includes outs and scoring. 9U will play teams within our district as well. Rules will be consistent with DALL AAA rules.  

Registration Fee:

All levels are $85. Registration fees go towards program administration, uniform and umpire fees.
