Saturday is officially Opening Day at Plains Park! We are so excited to kick off the 2021 season and that we will have nearly 250 kids playing in DALL! The Board has worked hard to prepare for the season and make it memorable for all the kids. We are so thankful for all the volunteers, especially the coaches, who will help make that happen. We’re also thankful for all the DALL families and all you do for the league! 

While we are disappointed there will not be the traditional Opening Day parade this year, the Board has planned a fun Opening Day! AA and A/Farm levels will have games throughout the day, which will be capped by a special event for the 12 year olds. AAA kicks off Friday evening while T-Ball begins May 6.

All DALL families are invited to attend Opening Day! We’re excited to announce that the Snack Bar will be open this year on Saturdays selling pre-packaged snacks, candy and drinks! The Snack Bar opens at noon and will remain open through the 12 year old game. Additionally, this Saturday FREE pizza will be available courtesy of Domino’s Pizza in Danvers. And what’s a day at the ball field without ice cream? Both Melt and Cookie Monster trucks will be down at the fields starting at 3 with ice cream for purchase! There will also be music and other fun!

To cap the day, the 12 years old will be recognized for their DALL careers with a ceremony and gifts ahead of a special scrimmage.
