Brendan Mackey started game 1 for DALL, he pitched 5 1/3 innings. Ryan Kelleher finished up the game with 2 K's in the 6th.

DALL won the coin toss to be the home team. Mackey walked the first batter then struck out the next 2, Ryan Buchanan ended the inning with a nice scoop and throw to Alex Taylor at first.

Bottom one leadoff hitter Chris Butler singled, Mark Etheringotn followed with a bloop hit to right, but the RF made a nice play getting Butler at second. The next 6 hitters hit hit safely. Mackey double, Bailey Klein single for 2 RBI's, Nick Andreas single, Alex Taylor 3 run HR, then Ryan Kelleher singled.

Top 2 Gloucester American scored 1 run to make score 5-1.

Bottom 2 the bats struck again for DALL. First two batters were taken out by Gloucesters pitching, then next 6 batters reached safely. Rich Martino started with a 4 pitch walk, Mackey reached on an error, Klein cleared with a 3 run HR, then Nick Andreas double, Taylor double, Kelleher single, would score 5 more runs to make score 10-1.

Top 3 Gloucester scored 4 runs to make score 10-5.

Bottom 4 Kelleher scored the last run of the game with a solo HR.

Bailey Klein, Alex Taylor and Ryan Kelleher led the way with three hits each and each homered.

Nick Andreas and Chris Butler added 2 hits, Mackey, Frank Soucy and Matt Kidney all hits hits to add to the 16 hit attack.

Game 2 Thursday July 2 at Forest River Park, Salem, 7:00 against Peabody American.
