Great game played by 2 determined teams. 95+ degrees & the 2 teams would play a 3 hour epic until finally decided on walk-off fashion.Neither team deserved less than being crowned champions!! Zach Dillon & Joe Nicolo took the hill for DALL during the game & both pitched their hearts out for the team.

Gloucester struck first bottom 1 for 3 runs. 2 coming on a HR.Top 2: DALL Matt Reidy single, Joe Nicolo single, Walker reached on an error, scoring Nicolo. 3-1.Top 3: Matt Reidy HR, 3-2.Top 4: Abbatessa walk, Ingemi single, Dembowski single tied game, Raimo single, brought Ingemi & Dembowski home. 5-3 DALL Bottom 5: Gloucester tied game on back to back HR's. 5-5.Top 6: DALL had 2nd & 3rd no outs, but Gloucester pitcher dug deep & got out of the inning.Bottom 6: Two outs Castanzo hit a single to LF, runner on 2nd. Reidy full extension to knock ball down so it wouldn't roll to fence. Reidy was on his knees when runner rounded 3rd. Got up throwing, on a dime to Max D'Amora at home plate. D'Amora squeezed turned & laid down the tag to send the game into extra frames.7th inning DALL had a runner on 2nd, couldn't score him.Lead runner on in 8th.Bottom 9: Runner on 2nd, 2 outs, 1-2 pitch to batter, walk off HR, to end game. The greatest game this manager has ever been a part of or seen. Proud moment for all players in game.

Zach Dillon pitched the first three innings (5 Ks) Joe Nicolo pitched the fourth inning & struck out the side.Top 1: Nick DiSciullo led off the game & reached on an error, Andrew Dembrowski Walked, Nick Raimo knocked in both with a double. Raimo scored on a passed ball. 3-0 lead.Top 2: Matt Reidy walk, Andrew Dembowski walk, Nick Raimo single, Joe Nicolo single, Casey Bussone walk, scored 2 runs 5-0.Top 3: Zach Dillon led off with a double, Matt Reidy walk, Dave Ingemi single, Rob Walker single, Andrew Dembowski FC for a RBI, Nick Raimo double, Casey Bussone single, Max D'Amore single. 9-0Top 4: Matt Reidy double, Dave Ingemi single, Rob Walker walk, Andrew Dembrowski single, loaded the bases. Andrew Dembowski started & pitched very well for Danvers. Zach Dillon entered the fifth & struck out 4 of 5 batters he faced. Matt Reidy web gem w/bases loaded, hard hit ball to second, stab @ball throwing to first to end the inning.David Ingemi threw from CF to home plate to take out a runner attempting to score. 2nd Inning: Joe Nicolo reached on an error, Rob Walker walked, Nick DiSciullo drove home Nicolo with a fielder's choice, Dembowski single, Raimo double knocked in DiSciullo. 2-03rd inning: Zach Dillon HBP, Nicolo single, drove in Dillon, Ingemi walked, DiSciullo reached on an error, Dembowski walked, Raimo walked with bases loaded. 5-0.4th inning: Reidy HBP, Nicolo single, Ingemi 3 run HR!! DiSciullo HBP, Dembowski single. 8-05th inning: Dillon walked, Reidy HBP, Abbatessa walked, Dillon scored 7 Reidy scored. 10-0. Nick Raimo picked up win for DALL & Casey Bussone picked up the save. DALL pitchers pitched a 2 hittter. Game was scoreless through 2 innings.Top 3: Raimo walk, Bussone single, Dillon single, Nicolo double, D'Amora single, Ingemi reached on an error, DiSciullo single, Dembowski HBP, plated 6 runs. 6-0.Bottom 4: Gloucester scored their run on 4 walks. Great game played by both teams. Pitching & defense was outstanding for both teams.Zach Dillon started for Danvers American & pitched the first 3 innings. Casey Bussone came in for 2 1/3 & Joe Nicolo the final 2/3 of inning.Score was tied 0-0 heading into bottom of 3.Bottom 3: Danvers American would strike first. David Ingemi led off with an infield single, hustling down the line to beat out the throw. Andrew Dembrowksi reached on a fielders choice & was driven in by a Nick Raimo hard single to CF. 1-0.Neither team would score again until an exciting 6th inning.Beverly Easy opened 6th w/a single & 2 walks. A single knocked in 2 runs for the 2-1 lead. 2 batters later a single madde the score 3-1 after 5 1/2.Danvers were confident w/last at bat.Zach Dillon led off w/a single, next batter Matt Reidy took first pitch deep to CF over the bleachers for his first career HR!!! Game tied 3-3....Nick DiSciullo reached on an error, David Ingemi single to RF, both advanced on a passed ball. Max D'Amora hit a fly to LF caught, Nick DiSciullo tagging, throw was thrown into Danvers dugout, scoring the run & 4-3 victory for Danvers American!!!
